Faq
Infrared saunas use light wavelengths similar to the sun to heat the body on a cellular level, effectively supporting circulation and detoxification at more comfortable temperatures. Traditional saunas heat the air around you, requiring higher temperatures to induce sweating.
Infrared saunas are safe for most individuals. The only people who should not use the sauna are those who are pregnant, have pacemakers, and (although rare) have an inability to sweat. However, if you have any medical conditions, consult with your doctor before starting.
Hydration is one of the most important things before, during, and after each session. Electrolytes are a plus! Going into your sauna as hydrated as possible will maximize the benefits of your sauna experience and keep you safe. Avoid large, heavy meals before your session. Avoid putting any products on your skin before arriving as well. During your session you will be sweating and releasing toxins a lot, and products on the skin can interfere with the detox process.
