If you need to modify or cancel an appointment, please contact our studio directly. If you need to cancel your appointment, you must do so as soon as possible. If you cancel your appointment within six hours of the scheduled start time, you will incur a “late cancel” fee of $30.
You can schedule an appointment online, through our Pause app, or by contacting one of our studios. We also welcome walk-ins, but due to high demand, we recommend scheduling in advance.
All services, excluding medical services, are available to minors between the ages of 16 to 17 unless otherwise prohibited by local/state law. Minor use of services requires the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, and additional restrictions may apply. Please see our terms of service for more details.
Although we love furry friends, we need to maintain a hygienic environment so unless you have a registered service animal, no pets are permitted inside any Pause.
Please try to arrive about 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to sign in and prepare to be relaxed. Take into consideration time for parking and any traffic delays. We do not recommend coming into our services feeling rushed and anxious.
If you are running late please keep in mind that we have a grace period of 15 minutes. You will automatically forfeit your appointment if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment. Due to the time sensitive requirements for administering our medical services, late arrivals will be subject to our $30 late cancel fee. If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged our "No-Show" fee equal to the full retail value for a single service session.
All packages expire 365 days from date of purchase and are non-refundable.
At this time, all of our gift cards, packages, and memberships, are exclusive to the location that they were purchased at. However, any active members can take a la carte services at other studios and receive our member’s pricing.
All packages and memberships at Pause are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual package holder or member. Additional guests may join your session for an added cost. Please view our pricing page for more information.
All retail food and beverage products are final sale and not subject to a refund or exchange. Merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase as long as the item is unworn, unused, not damaged, and presented in its original condition. All returns for merchandise must be completed at the studio it was purchased. Our services are non-refundable.
Each guest is welcome to take one of each Pause service per day. We have your health and best interest in mind; the duration of each of our services are the recommended maximum time per 24 hour period.
Pause is not responsible for any items left behind in the studio. If you left an item behind, we kindly ask you to contact the studio within 72 hours to arrange pickup. Any items that are not claimed within 72 hours will be donated.

Memberships can be purchased at any Pause studio. Please make sure that you plan to redeem your membership at the location of purchase since our memberships are location specific. Membership offerings and pricing may vary, please refer to the pricing page on our website for more details.
You are encouraged to use credits for Services as they are issued. Unused credits will carry over to the next month’s billing cycle for a maximum of 30 days before they expire.
Yes! Our Memberships can be bundled to create the perfect recovery regimen that works best for YOU! We also offer All Access Memberships that include all our services. Please view the pricing page for more details.
Members may cancel their recurring Membership at any time by providing their home studio with a 30-day written notice stating their desire to cancel. This notice can be submitted via email or in person. When a member cancels, their Agreement remains in effect until the end of their then-current billing cycle.
Members will be permitted to freeze their membership for up to three (3) months every 12-month period from their membership activation date. The freeze period can be consecutive or non-consecutive months. While the membership is frozen, all member perks will be suspended, and we will not bill for Services, but unused credits can still be redeemed (This does not apply to Unlimited Memberships). A membership freeze can be lifted at any time by request from the member. Once a membership freeze is lifted, billing on the membership will resume on the same billing date originally set at the time of issuance. For a member to request a freeze, their membership must be current and in good standing.
Also known as sensory deprivation, or sensory isolation therapy, float therapy involves a tank that is in a private room, filled with about 1 foot of water, heated to skin temperature, and filled with 1,000 lbs of high-quality Epsom salts. Everyone floats effortlessly, even the tiniest of humans, due to the high concentration of salts in the tank. Free of gravity and stress, the mind and body slow down and go beyond relaxation into a state of pure bliss.
The full treatment time of the float is 60 minutes, but allow yourself about 90 minutes for your full float appointment. The extra time will allow for a tour of the experience needed, a shower before and after, and any extra time needed afterwards to relax for a moment before heading out.
Not much! We provide everything you need for the float: towels, ear plugs, ointment for cuts and open sores, Q-tips, and Le Labo shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. You are welcome to bring a swimsuit, but most people prefer to float in the nude as the material on the body can stimulate the senses. Feel free to bring your own hairbrush/comb, deodorant, lotion, slippers and anything else that makes you feel as though you are at home.
The most important thing is, don’t shave or wax before your appointment to prevent any burning sensations in the float. We also recommend avoiding caffeinated beverages or a large meal before your float. A light meal or snack is OK, but you want to make sure you are comfortable and able to lay down and relax without focusing on your digestion. Any relaxing activity, like listening to a meditation, taking a walk, getting a massage, etc. can also be a great tool to get your mind in the right place before a float.
There are so many profound benefits even after just one singular float. However, there can be a bit of a learning curve for most first timers, requiring a few floats to feel totally comfortable. We recommend floating about once a week to supercharge your long term mental, physical and spiritual health. You are welcome to float more often than that, it is even safe to float every single day if you choose! The great thing about floating is that every float has powerful cumulative benefits, and however you choose to build it into your wellness routine can be beneficial.
A staff member will guide you through the experience and give you a full breakdown of what to do and how to be as comfortable as possible. Once the staff member leaves your room, you will have about 5 minutes to rinse off in the shower and get settled into the tank before a voice comes on to let you know your 60 minutes in the float has begun. Throughout the float, the lights inside the tank and the soft ambient music will stay on until you choose to turn them off with the buttons inside the tank. With the lights off you can enjoy a more traditional sensory isolated float, or with the music/light on you can customize to a more modern experience. Throughout your float you can totally let go and even fall asleep. At the end of your experience, the lights in the tank will come back on if you have had them off, and the voice will let you know your session has ended. You will have a few moments to step out of the tank before the filtration process begins. You will have about 15 minutes after your float to take a full shower and get dressed. You are in complete control of your environment throughout the entire float experience. You can keep your tank closed or open throughout the session, and step out of the tank early if you need. You are also welcome to toggle the lights or music in the tank on or off at any point throughout the experience.
Our float tanks undergo an extensive filtration system in between each client that involves disinfecting the water with ultraviolet light, ozone gas, and a micron filter. The filtration takes the water in the tank through this process 3 times in between each client leading to water that is far cleaner than any swimming pool. And don’t forget there are over 1,000 pounds of Epsom salts in each tank that act as an additional natural disinfectant.
Many of our clients worry that the float tank might be too small for their comfort, but the tanks are actually larger than they appear in the pictures. Our smallest model is quite spacious (L7’xW5’xH5′), which provides you plenty of room to lay back and even stretch a bit! If you plan on turning the tank lights off, it feels as though you are floating in the middle of space. Don’t forget that you are in complete control of your environment throughout the entire experience. You can keep the float lid open throughout the entire experience if you need.
Yes! The price will be the cost of two full sessions, and you will have to book with a staff member directly for this appointment.
It’s magic. Magnesium Sulfate is a mineral, which has been shown to help detoxify the body, strengthen the immune system, trigger the release of endorphins (happy chemicals), and provide relief from physical, mental, and emotional stress and fatigue.
If you are unsure, always check with your primary care physician before attempting to float. If you have a history of seizures, we recommend double checking with your doctor before booking. If you have any flared up skin conditions, large sores, fresh tattoos & piercings, we recommend waiting until your skin is fully healed before attempting a float to avoid an uncomfortable experience. While we do provide petroleum jelly ointment to protect any small areas of the skin in the float, the larger areas may be harder to cover, and it is best to wait before attempting a float.
Floating is a wonderful and gentle tool to support your pregnancy, especially in your second and third trimesters. We always recommend discussing this with your physician before coming in, but all in all floating and pregnancy go hand in hand. The float will create a gentle environment that feels almost like a womb itself and lifts the weight of the baby off the mama to be, allowing for deep physical and mental relaxation.
We recommend waiting for your period to end before floating, but it is ultimately safe to float while menstruating. If you choose to float while on your period, we recommend wearing a tampon or a menstrual cup.
While you can technically float with your contacts on, we recommend taking your contacts off during your float. If the water gets in your eye, it can be even more uncomfortable if your contacts are in.
If you have recently dyed your hair, please wait until your hair color has set before booking your session. This could typically be about a week after coloring, or when your shower water runs clear. Same with spray or topical tanning lotions, please wait until your shower water runs clear. This will protect both your coloring treatment, and the water in our tanks.
A light meal. Try to eat a few hours before the float so you won't need to use the bathroom in the middle of your session. Also avoid caffeine a few hours prior to entering the pod.
Yes! Everybody floats! The specific gravity of the water in our tanks is 1.26, which means even the tiniest of people can enjoy the float!
The float will make you feel incredibly relaxed. It is definitely safe to go about your day as normal after your float has ended, but we recommend not scheduling something right after the experience for you to fully enjoy the deep relaxed state that you are in. Many clients like to hang out in our mini lounge area and meditate or journal for a few minutes before heading out. Your skin will also feel incredibly silky after your session has ended as well; you will find that you’re not even pruney after your session.
Be without expectations! The beauty of pause is that it allows your mind to go wherever it wants to go with no constraints. Forcing expectations upon the experience will inhibit the natural journey that your mind wants to take.
Contrast therapy is synonymous with hot & cold therapy. It involves a process of toggling between the heat in an infrared sauna, creating vasodilation in the body, and the cold in the plunge, creating vasoconstriction in the body. We built each room to contain a 2-4 person sized infrared sauna, with a cold plunge right next to it. The room also contains a shower with bath and body products, and towels for client use. Once a client books the room, they can jump in and out of the sauna and cold plunge to their own liking.
Pause offers 30-minute or 60-minute contrast therapy sessions. You will get an additional 15 minutes in the service room after your session to shower and get dressed. So a 30 minute session will take about 45 minutes, and a 60 minute session will take about 75 minutes. This way you can enjoy the full service and have the opportunity to get ready afterwards.
Similar to our float pods, our cold plunge's primary disinfectant process is ozone, which is injected into the water during the filtration process 24/7. When dissolved in water, ozone produces a broad spectrum biocide that destroys all bacteria, viruses, and fungi. As an oxidizing agent it is 51% stronger than chlorine, and works over 3x as fast. We also treat the water daily with spa-grade non-toxic sanitizers that keeps our water clean and pure so you can safely enjoy your dip in the cold.
Our full spectrum infrared saunas reach a temperature of 158F (70C). Our cold plunges are kept at a temperature ranging between 45F - 48F (7C - 9C).
All of our contrast therapy rooms are private and can comfortably accommodate two guests, however select rooms have the ability to accommodate up to four guests. For parties larger than two, we recommend contacting the studio to book. There is a small fee for each additional person you bring; please refer to the booking page on our website for more details.
Our Pause recommended protocol is about 9 minutes in the sauna, 3 minutes in the plunge, 3 minutes rest, and repeat but you may toggle between the sauna and cold plunge as much as you would like during your session. We recommend reading to yourself and adjusting to your personal and physical limits during the session.
We do not recommend infrared sauna or cold therapy for individuals who are pregnant.
Those who are sensitive to cold temperatures or with any circulatory conditions. Anyone with open sores, pregnant, or with a pacemaker should not do this treatment. If you are unsure, please consult with your physician.

Infrared saunas are a type of sauna that feels similar to a dry sauna, but instead uses infrared heaters to heat the sauna and the body. Infrared light is invisible to the human eye, but functions to direct the heat of the sauna directly under the skin. The main difference between a classic wet or dry sauna is that the infrared radiates the heat into the body directly, rather than just being a hot room. For this reason, infrared saunas usually have a maximum temperature of 158F, but can get the body to just as high of a temperature as a typical sauna, with a gentler heat that doesn’t feel as overwhelming to the skin and lungs. Our saunas contain full spectrum infrared, which means you are getting the benefits of every wavelength of infrared.
At Pause we only offer private sauna suites equipped with a private shower. When you come in for your appointment, a staff member will guide you to your sauna room and guide you through your session if needed. You may bring all your belongings into the room with you. The staff member will also help you connect to Bluetooth if you prefer. Once you are left in your private room your timer for the sauna begins. You will have full control of your environment and can take as many breaks as you need throughout your sauna experience. Your shower is located in your sauna room, and you are welcome to rinse off before, during, and after your session has ended. Once your timer in the sauna has ended, you have 15 minutes to shower, cool off, get dressed, and exit the room. When you finish your sweat, it is important to relax and cool down while your body continues to perspire. Sit or recline with a towel or wrap around you for a few minutes.
You may find that it takes you a few minutes to sweat, sometimes even 10-15 minutes. With increased usage you will likely notice an increased ability to sweat more productively. After sweating you will feel great. You may notice glowing skin, diminished wrinkles, muscle and injury relief as well as a sense of relaxation.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Hydration is one of the most important things before, during, and after each sauna session. Electrolytes are a plus! Going into your sauna as hydrated as possible will maximize the comfort and benefits of your sauna experience and keep you safe. Avoid large, heavy meals before your session. Avoid putting any products on your skin before arriving as well. During your session you will be sweating and releasing toxins a lot, and products on the skin can interfere with the detox process.
We offer both 30-minute and 60-minute sauna sessions at Pause. You will have an additional 15 minutes in your sauna room to shower and get dressed after your session is over. So, for a 30 minute session, plan to be at the studio for 45 minutes, and for a 60 minute session plan for about 75 minutes.

We provide you with two towels per person in each sauna room, a washcloth, makeup remover wipes, and Le Labo bath products. The most important thing we recommend is bringing water with you, but we have some for purchase if you forget. A staff member will also be able to refill your water bottle if you bring one. If you would like, you are welcome to bring your own toiletries, hair brush, extra towels, and slippers. You may also bring a book or magazine to keep you entertained, or you may connect your phone to our Bluetooth!
We recommend wearing as little clothing as possible! If you would like, you may sauna nude, or you are welcome to bring a swimsuit if you prefer.
Yes! We default set each of our saunas to the maximum temperature throughout the day. However, if you do not tolerate heat well, or need the sauna temperature to be lowered, ask a staff member for assistance! We can also set a note in your account stating that you prefer a lower temperature. The great thing about infrared saunas is that you will receive benefit at any temperature.
It's easy. Simply open the door for a minute to let some fresh air inside. Or pop out and take a quick rinse in the shower.
We take cleanliness very seriously and ensure that each sauna suite is fully cleaned in between sessions with non-toxic cleaning supplies. Additionally, infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria, creating an inherently sterile environment.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate more! Some find that they are sweating up to even a few hours after they step out the sauna! Once you are cooled off, you will feel refreshed, relaxed and ready to go about your day as usual!
The only people who should not sweat are pregnant women, those with pacemakers and, although rare, those who have an inability to sweat. We also do not recommend anyone with skin lesions to sweat. If you are unsure, please consult with your primary care physician.
Cryotherapy is a type of cold shock treatment that involves stepping into a chamber that is anywhere between -140F to -175F for up to 3 minutes at a time. This treatment originated in Japan in 1978 and has become a popular treatment in both Europe and America since. At Pause, we have whole body cryotherapy, which involves stepping into an insulated chamber that would cover you from head to toe!
The standard treatment time for cryotherapy is 3 minutes, but you may request a shorter time.
The most important thing is to come in with dry skin and hair to avoid frostbite. Otherwise, we provide everything you need for your session. If you choose to pair this session with float, sauna, or cold plunge, you must plan to do this treatment first. It is OK to do cryotherapy after an IV drip, vitamin shot, or LED light bed session.
Once you arrive at the studio, a staff member will guide you to a private cryo room where you will undress but keep your undergarments on. We will provide you with gloves, earmuffs, socks, slippers, a robe, and a towel dress to wear during your session. It is required to wear the socks, gloves, earmuffs, and slippers, but the robe/towel is optional. We recommend that you also take off your jewelry before getting into the cryotherapy chamber.
The staff member will enter your room when you are ready and guide you through the treatment options. You may discuss with them your goals and needs before getting started with your treatment. Once you are ready, you will be set up in the cryo chamber, and the staff member will observe your whole session to make sure you are safe and comfortable.
Once your session is complete, the staff member will help you step out of the chamber, and leave the room so you can redress.
The moment your session is complete and you step out of the cryo chamber, it is common to shiver and feel a slight tingling sensation on your skin. The surface of your skin will feel cold to the touch. After a few minutes have passed your skin will be back to a normal temperature and you will begin to feel both mentally energized and physically relaxed. You can pop back into your normal routine right after your cryotherapy treatment.
The more often you do cryotherapy, the better you’ll feel. You may do cryotherapy as much as even once a day! If you are first starting out, we recommend doing cryotherapy 2-3 times per week to train your body to improve its response to the extremely cold temperatures. You may be surprised by how quickly your body can adjust to even colder temperatures.
While one cryotherapy session can have massive benefits to your health, we recommend including cryotherapy into your weekly routine to see optimal benefits!
No, cryotherapy is not recommended for pregnant women.
Yes, cryotherapy is totally safe while on your menstrual cycle.
Cryotherapy is unsafe for those who have Raynaud's Syndrome, major heart conditions, high blood pressure, neuropathy, major circulatory conditions, or lung conditions. Cryotherapy is not recommended for pregnant women. Cryotherapy is also not recommended for anyone who is currently sick with cold, flu, or COVID-19. It is extremely important to enter into the cryo chamber with dry skin and hair to avoid frostbite. It is best to avoid cryotherapy if you have any current skin infections, or open wounds as the cold air may exacerbate your condition.
No, contrary to popular belief, cold temperatures do not cause illness.
Intravenous (IV) therapy is an extremely popular treatment that involves the administration of fluids infused with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into your veins through a catheter (a hollow plastic tube). This looks just like the IV's administered in hospitals, but without any medications. This infusion is administered by a registered nurse trained in IV therapy administration.
The process involves setting up an appointment with us in the studio, which can be done over the phone or through our website (booking button inserted here). Once you show up for your appointment, we will set you up in our designated IV drip seating area and take your blood pressure. If it is your first time getting an IV drip with us, you will have a short 1-2 minute conversation over the phone with our nurse practitioner on staff who will clear you for your treatment of choice.
Once you are cleared for your treatment, the registered nurse on site will mix your IV bag, and administer the treatment to you in the studio.
Most of our clients finish our signature vitamin infusions in under 30 minutes. If a client prefers a larger IV bag for extra hydration, the experience takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour. If a client is adding NAD to their IV, this can add a significant amount of time to their IV. If it is your first time trying our NAD IV, it is a good idea to give yourself at least 1 hour for 100mg, 2 hours for 250 mg, and 4 hours for 500 mg. Once you know how you can tolerate it, this IV may not take as long. NAD IV takes longer than our typical IVs because you may feel some symptoms of stomach cramps, muscle aches, and chest pressure during the treatment. The symptoms subside the slower the IV goes, and tolerance depends on the individual.
Never fear, our nurses at Pause are extremely skilled in the art of administering an IV. The needle used in an IV is very small. You may feel a small pinch as the IV is inserted, but this discomfort is low and only lasts a second or two. Once the IV catheter (a hollow plastic tube) is inserted, the needle is taken out of the body. You do not have a needle in you for the rest of the duration of the IV.
We have six different vitamin cocktails that are listed on our menu. Each of these drips contain vitamin C, b vitamins, magnesium, selenium, manganese, zinc, and copper in varied concentrations. In addition to these ingredients, each drip contains added nutrients in varied concentrations to benefit the drips tailored need. Each has a different concentration of vitamins and minerals tailored to help you feel a certain benefit. If you have trouble choosing, we can help you pick the best one for you when you come into the studio for your appointment.
Yes, IV therapy is extremely safe! Our medical director, and a nurse practitioner oversee each IV drip administered to each patient.
IV therapy is not recommended for those who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding. Our medical team only allows the administration of hydration, an IV bag without vitamins, to those who are pregnant.
It is not safe for those with high blood pressure, or heart conditions to get an IV due to the dangers of excess fluids in the blood stream. If you are unsure, you may come in studio and speak with the nurse practitioner on the phone. Every client is screened by our nurse practitioner who will clear each client for the IV treatment. We always recommend checking with your physician if you are unsure.
We recommend a max of two vitamin IVs per week, with the exception of certain NAD protocols which would allow about 3-4 per week with a few weeks break in between. Our most common regulars do a drip 1-2 times a month.
This treatment uses a medical grade combination of LED color light and near infrared light to deliver clinical doses of light power through the skin. The combination of color therapy and near infrared light react with the mitochondria in your cells and stimulate ATP production. ATP is an energy carrying molecule responsible for all energetic functions in your cells, and the more efficiently you make ATP, the better your body is at repairing itself and clearing inflammation. We also contain chromophores in all of our cells that respond to different spectrums of color light and provide various therapeutic benefits.
The biggest thing we recommend for this treatment is to come in with clean skin, with no moisturizer or make up on. While it is not dangerous to have oils or moisture on the skin, it can reduce the effectiveness of the treatment you are looking for. Otherwise, this treatment is very safe and can be done at any time throughout the day. This treatment is also safe before or after any of our other treatments offered at Pause. We recommend bringing a pair of headphones to listen to your favorite podcast or music during your session.
Each session is 10 minutes long. The timer will be set to 10 minutes and 30 seconds to allow you time to get into the bed and experience the full treatment.
A staff member will guide you to your private LED light bed room and help you select the best setting of choice for your session based on your needs. Once the staff member leaves, you will undress, you can be completely nude for this treatment or keep your undergarments on. Any area that you would like to treat must be exposed to the light. You must wear the provided eye protection for this treatment. Before getting in, you will click the start button on the touchpad and step into the LED light bed. You will have 30 extra seconds on your session time to get comfortable in the bed.
The bed emits a soft white noise, which many clients find comforting. You are welcome to bring a set of headphones to listen to music from your cell phone throughout the session. It is safe to bring your cell phone into the bed with you. Once your treatment time is up, the lights in the bed will turn off. It is easy to notice when this happens even with eye protection on. You will then redress in your room, or wrap up in a towel and move over to your next service when you’re ready.
Most clients feel warm, refreshed, and relaxed after the treatment is up. Your skin will have a natural glow, and any aches and pains in the body will feel reduced. It is safe to go about your normal day after your treatment is up. If you have any serums or skin treatments you’d like to use, it is best to put them on after your light bed session. After the light bed session, your skin is extra susceptible to absorbing the beneficial ingredients in your moisturizers and serums.
LED light bed is not recommended for those who have issues with photosensitivity. If you are pregnant or lactating, please consult with your primary care physician before trying this treatment. If you have recently had any serious medical procedures, or conditions, it is best to consult with your doctor before trying this treatment.
If you are using any harsh topical serums or ointments such as retinol, glycolic acid, topical steroids, you must wash them off before getting into this treatment to avoid skin sensitivity. If you are on any oral or injectable medications that increase photosensitivity such as steroids, certain antibiotics, or accutane, it is recommended to avoid LED light bed treatment.
While this treatment is incredible for wound healing, certain spectrums of near infrared can enhance hyperpigmentation.
No. While the light bed looks like a tanning bed, you will not be receiving any UV rays from this treatment.
A staff member wipes the bed, goggles, and all surfaces of the light bed and room with Lucasol - an antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial solution popularly used in spas and tanning salons.
In-studio, we offer Normatec compression attachments for both the legs and hips. The leg attachment moves from calves to quads and hamstrings, while the hip attachment focuses on the glutes, hip flexors, and lower back. You can select the attachment based on your recovery needs.
Absolutely. It’s a favorite for post-training recovery, but also works anytime you want to ease muscle tension, boost circulation, and flush the lymphatic system.
Yes, Compression Therapy is generally comfortable and relaxing for most people. The gentle pressure applied to the treated areas often creates a soothing sensation. If you experience any discomfort, speak with a team member to adjust the pressure settings.
Aescape is an intelligent, intuitive massage experience that’s completely controlled by you.
Before the massage begins, you can adjust the bolster, headrest and armrest positioning so your body is in the most comfortable and optimized position for a precise, targeted massage.
Using the interactive Aerview console, you can initiate your massage. At any point in the massage, you can interact with Aerview to control and adjust the experience: pressure and intensity, target specific muscle areas, and tailor the music and lighting – so that you have the exact massage you want.

Yes. For your safety, Aescape sessions require the use of Aescape apparel. The robotics need clothing to create proper friction during your session. Guests with hair that touches the neck or longer should secure it in a ponytail. Apparel is provided at no cost.
